Douglas Blyde catches up with the Marketing Director of Gonzalez Byass over a chilled copita at the Feria de Jerez... 
What is your background? 
My marketing career began in 1998 at First Drinks when they won the Gonzalez Byass contract. I then went to Marks and Spencer’s in 2001, predominantly promoting wine, but also in more random-sounding sectors like flowers, plants, chocolate, cat food and even bin liners. Of course they weren’t just bin bags, they were M&S bin bags (scented, in fact). I subsequently joined Gonzalez Byass in 2004...
