Communicating Kai We Care
KAI We Care is a charity intiative to raise funds for residents of Christchurch, New Zealand affected by an earthquake in February which measured 6.3 magnitude.
This takes the form of a one night only pop-up restaurant at Grade II Victorian mansion, One Moorgate Place, subscribed by 200 paying diners and catered for by notable chef volunteers. These comprise: Simon Hulstone (Elephant, Torquay), Dominic Chapman, (Royal Oak, Maidenhead, pictured above), Mark Poynton (Alimentum, Cambridge, dish at the foot), Russell Brown (Sienna, Dorchester), Matthew Tomkinson, Montagu Arms, Beaulieu, pictured below), Adam Gray (Rhodes Twenty Four, City), Alex Wood (St Stephen’s Club, Queen Anne's Gate), Adrian Oliver (Margot’s, Padstow) and Darren Goodwin (Losehill House, Derbyshire).
Flitting between three floors, front and back of house, I will be operating the dedicated Twitter feed (twitter.com/kaiwecare) on the night. Do feel warmly welcome to follow antics.
