After watching 'The Other Boleyn Girl' at Greenwich Picture House, I went to the adjoining ‘Organic Tapas Company'. Filled with the cathartic machismo of Henry VIII, I actually walked out of the restaurant within moments. The corridor venue reeked of saffron masked disinfectant. The waiter brought me red-blooded port when I asked for dry sherry and dithered about changing it. We settled on Café Rouge around the corner, where a jenga of dildo breadsticks served with catering pack dips landed...
I recently discovered the Risqué Sommelier whose motto is '...just a little gay'. If you need cheering-up, take a look. Bereft of pretension, the inquisitive author has a cheeky sense of fun.
