No 'Nipper'

I am pleased with the firm suspension of Château Latour-Martillac's '03 Graves trio of Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Things like freshly applied eyeliner pencil, stewed black tea and suede came to mind before fruit. It did however deftly withstand duck confit a-paddle cassoulet, where its traceable tannins dissolved.

Incidentally, I really like its upmarket cigarette-packet label.
