All That Glitters...

ALL THAT GLITTERS in Hatton Gardens is indeed gold, including the daft looking 'fab' Fabrizio, an actually warm Italian caved behind a dilapidated façade off St. Cross Street. Deco Tamara de Lempicka prints line the walls, table tops are food-themed découpage, sultry black and white photos of London lounging at sunrise (or sunset?) climb the stairs...
The food is similarly artistically-inclined. Flutes of Prosecco with Polenta bread gave way to crisp antipasti then teeth-staining cuttlefish risotto. Perfect caffè macchiatos were served by a charmingly attentive waitress...

A German entrepeneur with little wine savvy is allegedly making viable wines in Burma. I would much rather see Slovenian wines shipped to these shores before what looks like further nature defying antics.
