Legion-Long Finish

I HAVE COLLECTED a house mate, Vinopolis colleague Anna [previous post], who kindly gifted me a bottle of Wroxeter Roman Vineyards' Gemima, a shrewd, tight-lipped puddleduck (forgive me) of a wine reminiscent of reeds, rushes, lock wall goo and 'elodea' (aquarium vegetation).
The minds behind this Shropshire site are determined to '...create a distinctive range...' And in this they have succeeded. No doubt perfect with uncompromisingly traditional toad in the hole, this wine is relatively rich and unexpectedly wide in the flavour spectrum with a legion-long finish.
Incidentally, by some quirk, Anna also brought with her Vietnamese Weasel Coffee (she was unaware of my previous encounter!)
